Key Plant's Heavy Duty Telescopic Column & Boom 9m x 10m is tested
by hanging a Mercedes from the boom to demonstrate the weight
capacity that the column can handle, and still operate without
deflection. This machine was displaced at the Essen Schweissen &
Schneiden exhibition in September 2009. The machine is designed and
manufactured by Key Plant in the United Kingdom.
NEW ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT POSITIONERS

Key Plant have designed and built a new concept in elevating positioners.
Based on our standard VP1.5 and VP3 welding positioner, this new machine
also incorporates a motorised vertical elevation, to increase the table
centre height to the floor. This is a powered vertical lift of the
positioner which can be performed when fully loaded. These machines are designed and
manufactured by Key Plant, in the United Kingdom.

Key Plant gain orders for manufacture and supply of Column & Booms for Lincoln Electric's
demonstration showrooms in Cleveland USA, Sheffield UK, Nijmegan Holland.
Wheesoe Order – January 2006
Key Plant received an order from Whessoe working in conjunction with Lincoln Electric for
the supply
of 6 New Girth Welders for the manufacture of LNG Tanks at Milford Haven, South Wales.
Fronius Order – October 2005 / February 2006
Key Plant continues the relationship with TPS Fronius and receives order for 19 New
Heavy Duty Column & Booms and 20 Ton Floor Turntable for Cladding Oil Valves.
The machines have been supplied to companies in Scotland UK, Singapore and Abu Dhabi
in the Middle East.
