Key Plant manufacture New Internal Booms for large and small applications and we have second-hand equipment fully refurbished available.  Internal Booms are primarily designed for welding steel work pieces with Sub Merged Arc, Mig, Tig or Plasma welding processes.

The welding equipment is normally attached to the boom arm and this can be positioned into place prior to welding.  There is an option of a traversing boom or fixed arm boom depending on the customer’s requirement and application.  The boom can weld circumferential and longitudinal seams and joints internally.  The boom can be supplied with either a stationary base or powered undercarriage.  Key Plant specially designed internal boom for very small diameters and pipe cladding enables the customer to weld diameters of less than 6 inches and 12 metres long.

Internal Booms can also be used in conjunction with polishing and grinding heads.
