Key Plant’s range of handling machines greatly benefits production and reduces setup times and improves productivity. There is no need to manufacture tooling and clamping jigs to fix the work piece to the face plate of any positioner or headstock. Different diameters of pipe can be fed easily into Key Plant’s range of chucks WP, WPS or HP and clamped quickly. Hollow bore Headstocks fitted with WP & WPS chucks can be viewed in our headstock brochure.

The adjustable height idler can then be traversed along rail into position to support the pipe. The idler is ideal for long work pieces and any number of these can be positioned along the full length of the pipe. The idler can easily be adjusted to suit different diameter by simply turning the handle near the leadscrew which raises or reduces the height of the rotation wheels.
